European Tour
More infoGustavo Dudamel conducts his first New York Philharmonic tour, the Orchestra’s first European tour in almost a decade. Concerts take place at the Philharmonie de Paris in Paris, France; L’Auditori in Barcelona, Spain; Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, Spain; Philharmonie in Berlin, Germany; Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany; and Musikverein in Vienna, Austria. The repertoire includes John Adams’s On the Transmigration of Souls, featuring the Spain-based chorale Orfeó Català; the European Premieres of new works by Tania León and Zosha Di Castri; and Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.
